I am an advocate of making refugees and migrant workers in kenya citizens. It helps them make lasting contributions and have a home. I would say if you are born in kenya you become a citizen and if you live in kenya for over 9 years you become a resident and then citizen after 5 years

Should be made law like yesterday. This thing of people living 40 years in a refugee camp is just a joke. I remember Jubilee especially William Ruto shouting refugee camps especially Dadaab in Kenya will be closed and the refugees sent back to their respective countries within 6 months. That was around 2014 and now 2020 nothing of the sort has happened.
Refugees are people and should be treated so. If there was peace in Somalia and S. Sudan these refugees would never be in Kenya. It is not their wish to be refugees.

That's preferable because wariah are a minority.  I am not sure you'd want them overrun your neighborhood.
