So the race to succeed uhuru in Mt Kenya looks to be on.
1) Look like PK will excite Muranga only - where Wa Iria will also be hoping to play. I believe he is being distracted again so he doesn't take Muranga governorship
2) Kimunya is now officially the senior-most politician after Uhuru - he might excite his Nyandarua base - but he can carve a large const if he reduces his well-known arrogance.
3) Nyeri has Corona man
the nyeri governorship is his for the taking if he can reduce his elitism; the primary school teacher turned governor of Nyeri is overwhelmed.
4) Mwangi Kiunjuri starts with Kikuyu diaspora and Nyeri home ground. If he piggy-back on Ruto - he could easily get Mt Kenya east and Kiambu. Muranga will be tough.
5) Mt Kenya east - Prof Kindiki just doesn't excite anybody as DPORK material - and so does Justin Muturi.
6) Martha karua - will probably go and square with Kibicho for vacant kirinyanga governorship
7) Uber-corrupt and arrogant Waiguru will most likely latch onto anything moving including Raila.
