The company Sonko named is actually Erdemann and not Edderman.
Erdemann means earth man in German. I do not think the company is even involved in road construction. It makes buildings.

I actually really like what uhuru has done with sonko. He has just moved in and provided leadedhip and stopped further anarchy from sonko. At this rate sonko is fone. In 2 years voters will have forgotten him

Nairobi should just be made a federal capital. It's obvious SH will never allow a governor to thrive. And it's obvious Nairobi is too important to be left to governors.

I think BBI will make Nairobi's MMC permanent.

What we need is the Nairobi Metropolitan Service extending into half of Machakos, Kiambu and Kajiado - and we can have gov make the requisite investment there to get light rail, sewage, and big tickets stuff.

Nairobi is our goose that lay golden egg. We cannot afford to mismanage it.

NMS should split Nairobi into boroughs - and have mayors - manage little things - like sweeping the streets - Nairobi can have about 10 such boroughs - dealing with local issues.

Remember Governors have not been given sufficient time to prove their worth. I understand the fear of LAvington/Kile elite of being dominated and dictated by some Eastlanders "who don't own anything but yell the loudest...." Remember National government has always interfered in Nairobi management even well before Governors and it didn't improve much.

For now, i have no concrete suggestion but the way they are dealing with Sonko is simply crude. They should have amended the law and set up whatever they think fit and then ease current governor out as the last governor. Right now its Kenyatta Mafia are the ones with personal vendetta to "discipline Sonko" and take over (as they have) PURELY FOR THEIR OWN ECONOMIC BENEFITS and not for Nairobi and country sake...

The issue with these services is maintenance - seems nyeuthi government officials and politicians cannot hack these common sense routine services like garbage, burst pipes, potholes/road maintenance, drugs in dispensaries, lights fixing and such. We want to go for buildings, equipment purchase, SGR and things for good PR and optics.

Sonko has been working alright. The other day he was handing the national government a maternity wing at Mbagathi after handing them the Covid isolation centre. MoH except scandals has done practically zero over 7 years. The scammers handed counties multibillion billion bill to the counties for shady leased equipment contracts. Mt Kenya Mafia and Uhuru are kicking every one but they will fry in their own fat.

Uhuru is being placated by everyone seeing they know how dangerous he is when spited. Sonko has done all the bending backwards and will be kicked around. As an alley cat he will rebound at the right time.

I wonder whether Badi will also be stopped from taking photos for Facebook - seems these Sonko photos really worried Uhuru.

The big question is what happens to votes, the MCAs, the city hall?? What precedent for other counties?

I hear Wanjohi has made NMS under the Office of the President. So Nairobi County or Metro will be managed from Harambee house. Maajabu. Not even Wamalwa ministry that sign it on.

All along I assumed he meant alderman but couldn’t spell it.

That Mike Mbuvi Sonko Facebook account is by a con impostor. The response by NMS shows how insecure the OP operatives are. They really want to be loved and will eagerly put down anyone intefering with their attempts to be loved.
