I think the BBI momentum is now over. People are going to protest and rebels esp as the economic impact of covid-19 starts to bite. So at this stage - if they bring a referendum - that is anti-people - there is high likelihood it will not pass.

Uhuru and co have treated kenyans rather shabbily - starting from Mt Kenya. Raila has become the enabler - so there is void to be filled  - maDVD is trying but it requires someone like Ruto to really get it off ground.

Ruto can buy a few youths to chant his name but he cannot buy a revolution.  Its ironic in Kenya that the dynasty, is more popular than the "revolutionaries" wanabes like Ruto.  Kikuyus will not abandon the Kenyattaa dynasty infavor of a Kalelnjin hustler nor will the luo.  I cannot fathom a revolution or even a rebelion in Kenya without the luos and the kikuyus.  Even Kalenjins knows in their hearts that Ruto's  days are numbered because  kharma is coming for him for the deaths of Msando, Juma, just to mention a few. I said a long time ago that Ruto will have to be sacrificed for Kenya to move out of this political stagnation into a new era and the sooner the better.   If he does not resign after his DP has been left an empty shell then they should impeach him.  If they can get the numbers to impeach Duale then they can get the numbers to impeach Ruto. Ouru needs to finish this Ruto chapter expeditiously so that the country can move on.

Does it matter - Jubilee - orange - the next party will be what BBI give - or even Hustlers Party or Maskinini party of kenya. Whatever it will be.

What I can bet it will be against is son of former presidents and deputy presidents  - Raila,Uhuru, gideon and the rest.

It will be a revolution unless Uhuru realize it.
