Kenyan Mpigs (including Senate) are hynenas. Anyone who expects loyalty from them should just recall how many have abandoned Raila to join the Ruling power in each election cycle. In fact, it's a miracle Waititu did what he did. That's out of character for these folks, whose number one concern is to keep eating, regardless of who is in power. He must've done it out of some miscalculation, not honor or loyalty.

Waititu and mlolongo MPs such as Kuria, Ichung’wa, Ndindi Nyoro are paid hefty retainers so Ruto can maintain the “popular in Mt Kenya” fiction. As the unbeatable facade shutters and jumping ship to URP2 there will be few takers outside Kalenjin. Only a suicidal GEMA will go with Ruto. Kihika can go and survive on Kalenjin. Waititu quit Tangatanga for KANU. There is grapevine he could be back soon as CAS under the Gideon-Uhuru deal. He will be a fierce Uhuru dog to crash Ruto in Mt Kenya. :D These are mercenaries.

“I am a strong supporter of the government of President Uhuru Kenyatta. I am not in Tangatanga; even the president knows that I support the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) 100 per cent,” said Mr Machogu.

Mr Oyioka shared similar remarks, stating that he supports Mr Kenyatta’s agenda in Parliament.

“I was not elected on Jubilee but I fully support the president’s agenda. The fact that I attended a fundraiser which was also attended by DP Ruto does not mean that I am in his camp,” he said.

The MPs were previously among the vocal supporters of the DP, but have since shifted alliance in the face of the ongoing political realignments.
