Matiangi doesn't have the political leadership skills to get through such project that require coordination and heavy lifting. The soon Ruto is on the deck driving the ship - the better for kenyan economy. The drunken sailor should not feel jealousy - let Ruto drive BIG 4 - housing, manufacturing, universal health and such.

Ruto has managed to get SGR, electricitity and road annuity running.

Last year was wasted big 4 wise. Nothing happened in housing. The 80-90B that was supposed to be collected end up getting tied up in court.

I cannot remember any contribution Ruto made towards SGR. He has never even claimed to have done anything there. Remember the end story of SGR has never been told. It could be better for him to keep distance from the whole project.

Jubilee, GoK and in fact Kenya can't hack Big 4 for various reasons.

Lack of resources - Big 4 esp manufacturing is over-ambitious. First Kenya is maxed on debt. Then I gave you the example of gambling - to nurture an industry to fullthrottle performance takes much more than political will or manifesto. All the cogs of manufacturing - laws, power, labor, transport, housing, (local) market, competition, etc - only transport and part of law is partially fixed in Kenya. Power, labor unions, corruption, counterfeits, PEV, dirt-cheap poor alternatives - these and other factors don't give Kenya a chance in hell. The structural vantage we discussed right here about the monocultural, communist Chinese or ASEAN. The colonial pioneering of the west. We are importing maize.  Exporting raw hides & skins, coffee, tea, sisal - so the light value-add sector - which is manufacturing entry level - is barely noticeable. But the real deficiency we have is ENTERPRISE. A few Meralis,  Chandarias and Kirubis - but where's our Tom Edison or Dangote? For all their ineptitude, Uhuruto and GoK are not squarely blemished. We all Kenyans have dithered to build the nation. I mean it's industry 4.0 and robotics - while Jubilee is stuck on industry 3.0 - same as rusty iron SGR - a revolution too late.

UhuruCare - this is going fairly ok by Jubilee standards.

Housing, food - Nanoks and ASAL governors need to be allocated extra food cash per year. Emergency yellow corn only with water supply. Housing should be left to the market, not GoK job. Even Singapore has not hacked free housing. It come down to economy really. Once folks have money they won't starve nor join Kibera. I know there are plans to build all these cheap houses - problem is millions of Kenyans need them - unsustainable given our debt level and budget deficit. Slum upgrade or such is ok but bottomline create jobs - laser focus on MSME which are the job creators - don't siphon credit into white elephants and vanity projects.

You see all these - is Ruto running on empty. Ati efficiency sijui nini. Uhuru has never pretended to be a performer - cause it putting makeup on a pig - it why we laugh at your new fairytale of legacy. Well, Ruto is his stymate.. wafunganye virago wampishe Babu.

Kadudu why are you amused? we are accustomed to Jubilee sarakasi this is small. We are often assured the Jubilee well-oiled machine is running smooth - Babu is being tagged along for sport. Then and now the web of lies leaks and you have these confessions and whines. Uhuru can't deliver Big 4 but Ruto is running to extend his legacy - Uhuru 2.0. Don't complicate these simple matters with difficult questions.
