Sonko says he smoked bhangi with Waititu in parliament

Unfortunately The Star pulled down this article but here is part of the verbitim.

I smoked bhang with Waititu during our MP days - Sonko

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has confessed he and his Kiambu counterpart used to smoke bhang during their MP days.

"We used to go to a certain toilet there; we used to smoke a lot of bhangi with this guy...in fact he used to hide rolls in his socks," Sonko said.
Sonko said Waititu does not seem to have stopped smoking bhang
.

This follows Waititu's criticism of Sonko's plans to phase out 14-seater matatus from the CBD.

Waititu was Embakasi MP between 2008 and 2013 while Sonko was the MP for Makadara during the same period.

During an interview on Citizen TV's JK Live, Sonko said Waititu was still practising "old school street politics that have been overtaken by events in an era where development-oriented politics takes precedent".
"We did a lot of drama when we were MPs...he threw stones....I punched walls (and) I slept on the road. But look, that has already been overtaken by events," Sonko said.
The Nairobi county chief has previously admitted to being a criminal and a jail bird.

Despite the drama, he said Nairobi and Kiambu voters took the risk and elected him and Waititu as governors and it was about time Waititu realised it was time to give good leadership.
"This is the time of portraying quality leadership to the people. The people took that risk," he said.

Sonko said, "I'm not smoking (bhang) anymore, him he is still smoking as the governor of Kiambu."

Do you need any confessions from such common thugs??

It is only the very naive of the masses who thinks the scum at the top of any system locally and globally are saints or altar boys.
Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state, an intolerable one ~ Thomas Paine
