Ruto and the economy
« on: September 24, 2018, 09:39:56 AM »
Stolen right from my mouth. http://www.nipate.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=76461&tmx=1537770286 There's a way in which Ruto cannot help but support his boss. This one was a catch22 since on one hand, supporting Uhuru meant getting the dosh he needs to bankroll 2022. On the other hand it means eroding popular support from the very people he was banking on for votes. Obviously, by now we all know only one recent Kenyan election has been won clean (2002). All the others have been Riggin' bin Riggin over and over again. Unlike Uhuru, Ruto cannot watch this one unfold from the sidelines. Uhuru is going back to Gatundu to enjoy his retirement, leaving a huge cloud of dust behind him. Ruto is eating the smoke and coughing all the way to State House. I wonder if RAO will cheer or jeer.
