Is that supposed to be a strong rebuttal to Dr. Ndii's argument? The argument is not weak by any stretch of imagination and of course he is talking about corruption and the presidency so how else could it be devoid of politics.  If you have nothing to say just shut up sometimes.

His arguments are as always tenuous and political.

Ndii is absolutely right uhuru is the head of crony capitalism(proper state capture). Government policies are formulated to make sure uhuru and his family benefit, timsales is a perfect example. Police housing that CMAX has built, why does government need to build police houses in urban areas where private houses are readily available and all the government needs is to give cops housing allowance to rent?

There is a bit of that in every gov in world but to imagine we've got a state capture situation is a fallacy. The kenyattas have capital and whatever policy - be it under Uhuru or Moi or kibaki or next PORK - they will always be ready to take advantage of whatever direction the gov chooses.

It is true that we have a little bit of that all over but its a little too much in Kenya because the regulatory laws, or conflict of interest laws are non-existent or cannot be enforced against a sitting president.  These are some of the reasons why they can only  trust very few people with the presidency and Ruto is not one of them.

Yeah we need to develop conflict-of-interest regulation but first ban civil /public servants from engaging in any business while in gov. As for they and Ruto - who are they? And where are they when Ruto is DPORK.
