Agriculture CS Mwangi Kiunjuri now claims Treasury is at the center of the sugar menace having allowed unregulated import of sugar leading to the dumping of 1.3billion kilos of sugar and thus disadvantaging local millers.

I think the Sugar thing is squarely in Uhuru's corner. It was decided to flood the market with Sugar to hit at Luhyas who had refused to join the Uhuru train. It came right after Uhuru's rally at Bukhungu was boycotted with people being told to stay home. Kakamega became a ghost town.

He actually called Rotich while still in Kakamega. Others joined in.
