Indeed. Well deserved. Others tried and failed miserably. There was a cold unyielding wall that side that nobody had hope in. Worse than Syria. Now Trump did it after firing Rex Tillerson for trying.

The narcissist will no doubt try to claim credit.  But North Korea does China's bidding.  The most Trump did was probably convince China that his personal instability and unpredictability might lead to catastrophe.  That he could instigate a war to distract from his legal problems at home.  Not exactly Nobel Peace Prize winning dynamics.

His legal problems are just too much to survive and he will never get the noble prize. Kim is getting his matching orders from China and Trump has nothing to do with the turn-around. I agree with Kichwa Trump has little to do with this which is driven by: 1) China and 2)Timing - Kim Jong-Un now has an arsenal to trade. Very likely Kim will insist on remaining "nondescript" nuclear power like Israel.

The real place where US has interest, influence and history to resolve is Israel-Palestine. No hope in sight... although Trump is right we should have an autonomous Palestine-Sinai on the peninsula south of Alexandria.

But the difference is the same and Trump, Xi Jin Ping, Kim Jong-Un and Moon will get a Nobel for this.
