Culture of violence

Watching it reminded me on my time as 14yr old in seclusion during circumcision - the savage beating - while you're suppose to just stand there and not even cover your back. The covering yourself in mud - I think Kenya police tried to copy MTC training. One of guys we were with - decided he was done with life and attempted suicide - he was rescued and then beaten some more - for weeks two guys had blisters all over - from beating and they resorted to using some stinging leaves as punishment. And just like with kenyan cops - you then swear an oath to secrecy - and the cycle of savergy and violence continues. The warriors during wars will act like our cops - with extreme violence - I mean this was friendly training violence - think about an enemy.

No wonder they vent on defenseless women and toddlers.
