Tullow built oil pipeline to Lamu

Kenya continues to inch closer towards full scale oil production following the signing of a joint agreement to construct an 820 kilometer crude oil pipeline.

The joint development agreement deal brings together the government oil explorer Tullow as well as its joint venture partners, Africa Oil and Maersk Oil to come up with a plan to evacuate crude oil from the oil rich basin of Lokichar to the proposed new port and refinery in Lamu.

Still a longer way before that oil can flow. Uganda Oil may not flow anytime soon and they are maybe 5-10yrs ahead of us.

Too late
in 20 yrs the world wil no longer depend on fossil fuels, rather renewable oils. China, the worlds biggest economy is building massive renewable energy reserves and will be the leader in this area with Europe trailing. Even SAudis are selling their once cherished oil infrastructure to investors.
