It is a calculated move. He knows most opposition areas have embraced the idea of not voting on the 26th.

GEMA is putting pressure on him.  He should have said those things immediately after the SCOK ruling but he thought he could bulldoze NASA back into an election that was already rigged.  He is just starting to realize now how ridiculous an election without NASA would look like.  Even our resident Pundit cannot produce a MOAS without NASA's presidential candidate.  I am curious though.
