First would be for someone to determine the veracity of the claims in petition. Prejury is least of the crimes when we are talking treason.

I wobder how he envisages interrogating something before it's filled That indeed raises suspicion. The guy if he lies is obviously guilty of pre-jury. That is given. But let petition bring forth his evidence - and the accused their rebutall - and we can easily settle this matter.
