Ouru at it again, buying and corrupting politicians
« on: September 15, 2017, 05:07:46 PM »
This is why ouru and ruto are a danger to our democracy.  This young politician now belongs to ouru personally. If this was the US he would be charged with taking bribes because they understand why bribing politicians is a danger to democracy and the rule of law. Corruption is the worst enemy of democracy and the two cannot exist side by side. Usually democracy is the causality.

This 23 yr old university student just got elected MP. He went to statehouse in Matatu and Uhuru promised him a car so he can serve his people more effectively. A bribe for doing what exactly? What is there to pass that Jubilee is struggling to pass in parliament they dominate. Unless you mean Uhuru is making a down payment to effect some constitutional change.
A gift? What was the occasion?

Gift indeed.  I wonder what he'll have to do in return.

This dude is finished.

I just hope the youngster does not end up getting mesmerized by the eating culture in that institution and forget why he is there.

This young man unfortunately has already sold his soul. Look at a Ababu now from Ababu of 2007.  Its like salt or sugar, when a Kid taste that sugar or salt for the first time, they are hooked for a long time-until diabetes kicks in at adulthood and they have to quit for health reasons.  In the USA, they make it very difficult to accept such "gifts".  First and foremost, you have to report them fully, then you have to pay taxes on them.  The taxes on gifts can be as high as 45%.

I just hope the youngster does not end up getting mesmerized by the eating culture in that institution and forget why he is there.

The only problem we have is public schools, medical clinics, many roads are worser off than 1970s. Yes people are rich, but the population is ten times thet of 1970s so the wealth is cancelled. 4% own 99% of the wealth and they are not investing in creating jobs etc. They are inviting in buying other politicians.

According to media reports and if Pundit is to be believed, certain persons were looking for SCOK judges on the eve of the judgement to have them receive 'gifts'.
