Look like Lapset is slowly coming to shape - Lamu port is under construction - Isiolo International airport is open - I think the road from LAMU to Hola(Tana River) to Garissa is under construction. And possibly Garissa to Isiolo is also under construction.

What remains will be the oil pipeline - and possibly SGR in the near future.

And this is also very good..Jubilee has reduced the cost of construction for a kilometer of road from Sh200 million to Sh36 million.

Just so we are clear the projects are financed jointly by the European Union and the African Development Bank (with EU funds). It is part of the EU / AfDB to build inter-connection within Africa. Chinese funds? I doubt it.

However, the narrative and plan has been to pretend that the looted Eurobond financed these projects.

Any government - even NASA - will continue to run these projects just like Uhuru found the Marsabit - Moyale project started by Kibaki and then took it over. He now is using ot to steal 4.2 billion claiming that is the cost yet it was fully funded and contracted by the time he came into office at 15B.
