The IEBC just reopened their online portal for Kenyans to check their voter status and within seconds the same horrors that forced them to shut it down last month emerged

After looking at IEBC's report on the audit, am surprised nobody is asking the hard questions.

Why did IEBC purge just 30 names of dead voters from its register in 4 years? Isn't register cleanup and update supposed to be continuous?

KPMG have recommended that the IEBC work with CRS to obtain the full details of deceased persons based on the total registered deaths from November 2012 to December 2016. CRS have indicated that they have another 350,000 details of deceased persons which will be immediately availed to the IEBC. These should be used to expunge details of deceased persons before the Register is certified.
What has IEBC done with the 350K list of dead voters CRS promised to avail immediately?


I think KPMG's hands were tied by the Civil Registration Department (CRS) who never provided all the data requested within the 30- day audit window, as well as bad data

NASA has been on this long enough to now consider legal avenues. The IEBC has refused to publish the register as required by law. It has inflated the number of voters in Kiambu, Tharaka Nithi etc contrary to the law, IEBC regulations etc that forbid any new additions to the register after it is closed for verification.

There is a lot that now must be heard before a court of law
