Ouruto in panic mode
« on: July 04, 2017, 01:19:39 AM »

Yesterday Ouru offered kalonzo VP in 2022 and Ruto is offering Eugene the same slot in 2022. I thought it was kalenjin/kikuyu for the foreseeable future. What's going on Pundit? Are your boys getting desperate?  Are they so short they have to now lie. Why do they think anybody would believe them at this point in the campaign.  The last four weeks is when voters decisions start swinging and solidifying. Right now it's swinging towards NASA and if they do not turn it around, it's going to solidify in the last two weeks. This is why they are pathetically desperate. How do you lie to people like that?

He promised nothing relevant to those folks except that Eugene will get a chance to ascend power.  That in a nutshell is what constitutes issues in Kenyan politics.

Unless he misquoted, he was clearly reported to have  promised Eugene the VP position in 2022.  The assumption is that the tribal votes will now start to flow his  direction. Maybe NOT. The political science of tribal votes is overrated.

Ruto must have forgetten he was addressing Luhyas.

No tribe has produced more Vice Presidents outside Central than Luhyaland.

Mudavadi, Wamalwa, Awori. Both Mudavadi and Awori were rejected along with their vice-Presidency. There is no mystery in vice presidency for a Luhya or Luo.

Jubilee desperation getting worst by day. They have thrown everything including the proverbial kitchen sink but nothing doing.  2017 is out of reach for jubilee thieves. Jubilee has no path for victory.

The DPORK position will come to haunt Ruto no doubt. More likely it will go to a Kikuyu because he needs them more. There will be a nomination charade which Kiunjuri will win. That said, Raila has promised Kalonzo the presidency in 2022... while Sultan Joho has declared he will be gunning for it. We're headed into the amusement season.

Everybody knows that if Ruto survives the long knives waiting for him after this elections, win or lose, he will need a Kikuyu DP to run in 2022.  For him to therefore offer this position to a Luyhia is laughable and it shows the kind of desperation that can only be attributed to a person who is smelling defeat. I do not know how Ruto with all his money and power has been able to make so many enemies in such a short time. The DP has been very costly for him politically.  He is hated in the opposition stronghold, he is not trusted by most of his kikuyu allies and he has generated a lot of bad blood with some of the political heavy hitters in his own backyard such as the Moi's and Iso Ruto just to mention a few.  Its amazing that ouru would have an easy time touring Nyanza including holding a rally in Kondele but Ruto cannot.  How do you even think of running for president with so much high negatives?  Ruto's personality makes him completely unsalable as a presidential candidate. He should stick to campaigning with ouru.

You're wrong. Jubilee is not desperate, Ruto is, there is a difference. He is scared of the "long knives" as you note, and his fear can be seen in forcefully merging parties, eliminating imaginary Gema enemies at the slightest whiff, lining up allies, accumulating wealth, name it. The Lusakas, Wamalwas, Kindikis and Mutuas are needed to reign in Kikuyus.

Pundit says he has "quivers", he does not, he lives in mortal fear of betrayal.
