KPMG Kenya should be delicensed
« on: June 30, 2017, 07:40:44 AM »
If they did an audit on the register and were not able to find weaknesses such as the ones exposed yesterday then Auditor General needs to stop all payments for this exercise. Treasury should not pay a ndururu to these fools. How does an Audit firm like this even justify its existence with this kind of mediocrity

They basically did nothing. This amount to criminal negligence from KPMG and IEBC. Look like they have not cleaned their database yet.

Total incompetence the CEO Mwaura should lose his job for this highway robbery

https://assets.kpmg.com/content/dam/kpmg/ke/pdf/rc/ita/audit-of-the-register-of-voters-media-release-04-april-2017.pdf

a simple IT audit would have exposed weakness with the database.

NASA should just hire it's own auditor to comb this database. As matter of fact there is no need for elections with such a compromised register.

Kenya is hopelessly corrupt. A friend who was involved in Thika Jubilee nominations told me that Alice was losing by over 6K votes toward the end of tallying. Her camp then started fracas in the tallying center. Within minutes police kicked everyone out including agents. The AP that were guarding the tallying center then stuffed the ballot boxes with premarked ballots and when the dust cleared she had "won".

This is what is happening here with the register. someone has compromised IEBC and auditors

So we have independents to tame party corruption. Alice is getting booed everywhere - even in Uhuru's presence! - and her goose is cooked.

I smell Jubilee's filthy hand in all this. After RO final declaration maneno they need something to hold on to. The incumbent usually fights reforms that disfavor them. NASA should simply move to court and demand re-audit by a better firm. We can elections in March 2018 if necessary so long as they transparent. The register is too key to be ignored.

The vague report - 1M dead voters but only 92K to be deleted... KPMG's shoddy work is my reason to finger Jubilee. If you have worked with these auditors you would know they are very thorough when they mean to be. Yet this is just a list of names. What is Tuju's opinion on the issue? -the messier the merrier to him.

NASA should get the register print it and send a hard copy to each polling station and have the copy of each 700 voters displayed for verification by public ..

That - but first block IEBC in court until a clean register is available along with kicking out Al Ghurair. It is not rocket science or optional to have a clean election.

This time riggers - ROs, Chebukati, NIS - better be paid in bitcoins. Might wind up in prison especially if folks die.
