The interference in the nominations by Ruto has ruined Jubilee in Central. Then the 6 piece voting is causing resentment with voters choosing to revenge against those advocating for it by denying them the vote or voting for NASA. In RV, we expect trouble for Jubilee in Uasin Gishu, Trans Nzoia, Elgeyo Marakwet, Baringo, Pokot and of course Laikipia. Nakuru is now CCM territory and may even spur Koigi Wa Wamwere whom I had written off.
Pokot and Baringo are lost because again Ruto interfered in their local politics - failing to heed Biwott's advice to stay above the fray. We have a situation where Ruto is so hated that the leaders prefer to see Raila in office rather than see Ruto back as DP. That was the motivation of Isaac Ruto (who incidentally proved to Uhuru and Ruto that he will beat Laboso badly). Perhaps the only place where Ruto may get support is Kericho.
