Looking we are nearly sorting access to power.

7 weeks still a long time to connect somebody - 7 days should be enough.

That's nice but still quite so basic just like SGR when other countries have bullet trains. When power supply is 100% uninterrupted and price competitive with Ethiopia... then we can talk. I don't agree that universal access to electricity indicates much more than less environmental destruction.

If you imagine 10yrs ago - we were around 12-15% access rate - this is worth celebration. Once we have dealt with electricity access - like universal access - we can walk towards making it affordable & reliable. Our SGR is electrifiable - so that is no big problem. I am not sure what you mean by less enviromental destruction - folks will still cook on firewood until we get really cheap cooking gas.
