I'd have thought that if the same initiatives were given to already existing companies and new ones there'd be no need for government initiated industrial parks. However if this is what will lead to availability of fully treated leather ready to be made to finished goods I am all for it. Forced clusters though are hardly ever successful, konza city will struggle to take off also.

Remember a great project that was started by Kibaki to upgrade, I think, Kirinyaga market?
The project remains in tatters half finished. thhiefs have been stealing whatever that is on site. Ten years down it will be a shackle of wasted money. Give these monies to private industry as soft loans and let them work wonders.
Kong city is a dud, unless private industry takes over.
