I read the story and sighed with resignation. I guess he comes from a poor family and he will be buried and forgotten. The senior officers he was due to blow the whistle on will kick the wife out of the "police Housing" and deport her back to the village.

It sounded slightly worse than the Ouko suicide story.

The policeman decided that he would shoot himself five times and he kept shooting at his brain, and continued even after he blew the skull to minute bits. He only stopped when he had fired the fifth bullet! I can imagine him then grabbing on to his rifle to ensure that it was "clear" his death was a suicide.

I am not Ababu Namwamba but I got this long mwiko in the house which is about the size of a rifle. No matter how well I "aimed" could manage to "shoot" myself with it.

I think Tobiko should follow the example of Amolo and CJ and take an early exit even if Uhuru will ensure a Kikuyu takes the job. I have lately been surprised to find an increasing number of educated Kikuyus who are more opposed to Uhuru than I am. I will soon apologize for my earlier angry remarks on the subject.
