we have an outbreak here in east coast of sore throat, flu, allergies and it is spreading like bush fire. People are showing up to work sick instead of staying away and working remotely if they have to. My throat is on fire as I type this. I hate spring especially when it gets hot all at sudden and air quality deteriorates quickly. I miss my rural life in Kenya the air was clean. The only person happy about this is the over the counter remedy quacks. The brave new world is that of an overworked employee who is very unsecure and has to work to even when seriously sick to stay alive
