We will wait and see if Kenya can make history in Africa and use this black gold for it's masses.
If we cannot even run an outfit like NYS with an annual budget of 45B ksh., what about this billions of US$?

Great news for Kerio people, there is now Flourspar, Oil and rubies we need to strengthen devolution, make local government transparent and improve their capacity. I say let us wait another 20 years before mining this stuff

Agreed.  At the very least, income or a larger portion of it, from precious natural resources should go straight to the counties; with the county of origin getting a larger cut.  The national government can be allowed to squander and steal the rest, only after the counties get their cut.
