Deadbeat Kenya
« on: September 12, 2014, 11:16:56 AM »
Whats the hype about that page on facebook?

Within 24 hours membership has risen to 56K and all just talking about men who have neglected their children with clandes, mpango wa kandos, wives, mistresses etc

I think kenyans are so idle and just like gossiping about other peoples private affairs.

Nothing...i believe will be achieved through that forum. Instead it will do more harm than good. After all that embarrasment guys will just hardend their stands and dont forget most chics with their lust for the ''BAD GUYS'' have already got a place to hunt. Give it time it will fizzle out like tutubi twa kwiru...

Only if it is not the truth. The defense for libel and slander is the truth.

Termie,
That's a false dilemma, why just those two options? why not negro comedy instead?

I have no respect for any dead beat fathers and mothers; i think their names should be put in a big list of shame.

It's in fact commedy.  Tragicomedy.  There is no purpose outside of matharau.  You expose someone like that, you are just going to make Ken Ouko a hardened deadbeat.

I think if family is involved.  Best try and get on someone's best side.  This exposes even the children to ridicule from their peers.  These things mean a lot to kids.

@ Termie,

I disagree. These men do not have to be begged to provide for their children. Their double face /double standards must be exposed.

Termie,
I once stopped a gal from hiring Mungiki to castrate her ex who dumped her around her first trimester. Next thing I heard was tht they was together and she got pregnant again. She learnt of his secret wedding a week or less to delivery and a day before. Dude warned her to never approach the wifey else all the support would drop...

Talked to her last month and the negro is happily married and supporting them two kids, pays around 25k rent for her , mbotch- 5k and some 20k upkeep. But she had to threaten him with a suit. Paid a lawyer to draft some fake order or something and he fell for it.

From that experience, exposing a deadbeat is the least a bitter woman can do

Hehehe...I am all for male/female bipedal ruminants looking after their offspring.  But not at any price.  If the legal system is messed up, one has to carefully consider letting it pass.

It looks like Kenya has a shabby enforcement of parental responsibility.  But putting someone's dad/mum on a list of shame cannot be good for the kids.  Especially when it most likely just hardens the attitudes of that parent(whose side of the story we haven't heard) even more.

But why must the men be forced/asked to provide? I'd understand if a man doesn't want his child. But if a woman takes a child an wants to turn you into an ATM with demands for "medical insurance," i find that very stupid.

Women should be told not to use kids as bait. NEVER.

Told by who??? Most women trap men with pregnancies. Agood number of babies out there are raised with "not their real fathers" Some ladies even after giving them cash for the pill they still dont take. What do you do..simple head for the hills. But as for the kid share responsibilities on terms agreable to both of you

Yes some women do make impossible demands..but as responsible parent you pay want you can afford..if it's 3k per month..do that..even if she keeps demanding 10k.

The is simply no reason why you should pay zero shillings whatever the case maybe. Nobody should even drag you to court to do it.

Just always do the right thing.

Nobody forces you not to use a condom. I am proud of myself coz i have no kid born out there. Always insist on a condom. Always make it very clear to the woman that YOUR NOT NOT ready for kids.Always tell her to take bills including emergency. Always be ready to finance abortion. I have a small bro with kids all over. The mistake he makes is to promize women he will marry them..those women then let their guard down.

Once a baby has been born...that changes..and you just have to take responsibility...pay what you feel like paying...unless of course there is a court order..and you're force to pay certain amounts.

Sperm donor is not a dad or mum. Such kids already have harden attitudes that last lifetime facebook or no facebook. I know old man who we worked together back..he really hated his father for dumping her and her mother..that is probably 60 yrs ago.

Being a dad or mum means assuming parental responsibility. Anything else is like a egg fertilizer.

But putting someone's dad/mum on a list of shame cannot be good for the kids.  Especially when it most likely just hardens the attitudes of that parent(whose side of the story we haven't heard) even more.
