I haven't been back here for more than 20 years. My parents used to bring me here most weekends when we lived in Balgowlah. We used to watch the boats sail, fly kites, have BBQs. I loved this place as a kid. Many fond memories.

I'm at a pilgrim lodge. I needed some air... although I think something sinister happened here. The pic below is the pagoda and it's a giant crematorium filled with people's ashes. I looked to be the only one wondering around at night. I guess pilgrim types fear evil spirits or something or perhaps sleep uber early so they can pray uber early in the morning. I'm sleeping in.

I'll be in Maryland in August to see my Aunt. I hope to see you. We can stroll on Ocean City beach.
