In a few years most smartphones will support satellite not just cellular.
So Starlink will not need local operators for long.
However the government can deny Starlink frequencies -
that way local telcos could be saved by GoK by regulation, not technology.
Realistically what will happen,
people will have a Safcom simcard in a satellite phone
so Safcom will lose data + international + roaming revenues.
Telco lunch will be eaten soon.
Starlink will need mobile operators to function .
