Sakaja is the worst thing that happened to Nairobi, I would take Sonko or the military guy, he has no vision, intelligence, work ethic or gravitas to lead a city like Nairobi, at least Sonko was a disorganized hardworking hood rat. Babu is an educated sonko who is also hardworking and compassionate, he care for the poor who are the majority in Nairobi.

Too early to tell, but my bet is Ruto will be recruiting Tim Wanyonyi or James Muchiri depending on dynamics at that time. 2+ years is eternity in Kenyan politics. Sakaja may still pull it off, or Sifuna! Luhya votes in Nairobi are massive, so Sakaja, Wanyonyi, and Sifuna are likely top contenders.  Raila may collapse Babu to run for senate!

I dont believe Gikuyus having missed all big seats will accept to let go of Nairobi.
They are bitter for not nailing Nairobi all these years - when in old system they had mayor seat almost by default.
I see a Kikuyu candidate merging with Kambas - giving them a good start
However Sakaja will win - because Raila will tell Babu and Tim to SHUT UP - and they will.
The best Babu can hope for is become Sakaja Deputy - as Sakaja will dump current deputy.
Tim will be sent to Bungoma - as Lusaka is retiring.
Raila is on retainer from Sakaja - as long as Raila will be getting millions monthly from Sakaja - Sakaja is safe.

Nairobi math will be complex. It emerging nationally you are heading to Kalonzo-Matiang'i- or such with RiggyG as main force. vs Ruto-Raila.

If Team RiggyG slice Luhya via Malala-Eugene- - this split ODM Nairobi. RiggyG seem to be willing to rein greedy Kikuyus in Maa - he can easily poach Babu Owino who has been defending GenZ from cops and Sakaja thugs. That would be landslide against Sakaja-Aladwa.

For now it Sakaja vs Aladwa vs Babu Owino.

I agree it Sakaja vs RiggyG guy. Babu Owino run as independent wind up like PK 2%.

Sakaja prospects are hard - cause Kamba-Gema block. And potential Luhya split.

I am yet to digest your Muhoho story - that RiggyG will be paid 10B to endorse him. Gema are not that fangible. Like Njuri Ncheke used to say (before he succumbed to muguka): Gema owned Uhuru not the reverse. The same applies to RiggyG.
