Ruto Manages to convince Moi to handover Presidency to Uhuru instead of Raila .
Raila decides to tosha Kibaki who is winning already due to Moi being in a similar situation Ruto is in right now . Mismanaged economy and very unpopular.

Kibaki as with normal regime changes sends majority of incompitent PSs who by default are Kalenjins due to Mois tribalism home . Decides to have a proffesional  Government which it has come to pass Kibakis Government had been the best in Kenyan history .
Rift Valley feel they are being targeted as they have been used to freebies for 24 years . They use Raila who has been complaining of unfulfilled MoU (nothing constitutional) as by then there were no Coalition agreements . Ruto who abhors Raila is forced to support Raila lest he is kicked out of MP seat and sent to political oblivion. He tries to Con Raila by supporting Kalonzo , it doesnt work Raila prevails for a second time and is nominated to contest against Kibaki .

Raila tries to Rig 2007 elections through Nyanza and Rift Valley . For a first in the world voter turnout is 98% in Nyanza using 90s registry as if no one dies or gets sick during election .Even with Rigging Kibaki manages to win with around 200K votes something replicated by Ruto in 2022 .  Due to campaign incitement war erupts something tied to Raila but he manages to implicate Ruto . He Cons Ruto by putting him under the bus and also tries to fire him from Cabinet . Kibaki protects Ruto and this brings in the ODM wars
Ruto had never believed in ODM dream he was ambitious and rightfully so was destined to become Kalenjin kingspin after Mois retirement .
He decides to abandon ODM and goes back to UDM his first party .
Raila decides its ICC or nothing for Ruto , he writes to ICC for Ruto to be jailed.
Meanwhile Raila has majority of Kalenjin Ministers and Mps and thinks he still has control of Rift Valley . Similar to what Ruto thinks now with Mt Kenya .
Referendum comes and Ruto loses but with 30 % , which makes him the bridesmaid , who between Kibaki or Raila will get Rutos support .
Come 2012 Raila approaches Ruto for a partnership in 2013 elections with DP seat . Ruto tells Raila give me time to think about it .
When Ruto goes Mashinani they tell him they dont want anything to do with Raila . Stick with Uhuru they tell him even if it means losing . They tell him we lost , 2002 elections and 2010 referendum and we still good , its not the end of the world .
Ruto being terriefied he gives in Uhuru overcomes his Mademoni and takes it on against Raila the unbwogable , the enigma , Tractor . They win and realise Railas support is just hot air . It was the making of SK Macharia and his media houses ….

Come 2017 Raila tries to tell Ruto to betray Uhuru , Ruto stays firm then Raila decides to handshake Uhuru a backstab to Ruto because kills 2 birds with one stone . Uhuru get Mp numbers and Raila support meaning unlike first term Ruto cannot keep Uhuru desperate for his backing and secondly Unlike first term where UhuRuto shared the loot this time around Uhuru will loot alone . Another Con by Raila to Ruto.
Raila manages to obtain Jubilee party and make Ruto Party less , with that he thinks he will upstage Ruto Mt Kenya backing for 2022 elections .
Then fastforward 2022 elections Raila knows he has lost reaches out to Ruto for a Coalition Government . Ruto flatly disagrees , he knows of history when Raila joined KANU and left with half the party , remembers how Raila mistreated , fired him and sent him to the Hague  in 2008 and Most difficult time of Rutos political life handshake era where Ruto had helped Uhuru become president and Raila came in to displace Ruto and share the spoils  . He refused and termed handshake as mongrel . He also knew any handshke with Raila will make him lose the Anti Raila vote and this 2027 elections.
