This election will not even be close. Ruto will be third in the first round no matter who runs. If he is eliminated in the first round, I do not care who wins. I hate to say this, if it comes down to Ruto vs Kalonzo, a Kamba will become president for the first time in Kenyan history. If it’s Raila vs Ruto, a Luo will become president for the first time in history. This is the best opportunity for someone from outside kikuyu or Kalenjin to raise. People like Omtatah will get enough votes to deny anyone a win in the first round. Ruto’s problem was completely misreading Kenyans, he brought in his Kalenjin cabal that is still stuck in Moi era mentality. The I am in the government, I am a big man, I can steal and make myself a village king like Biwott etc Kenyans with a click of the mouse can see what’s going on around the world. All jobless genZs including my nieces and nephews can go on facebook and watch their compatriots living large in the west with jobs, cars, apartments , vacations etc while Kasongo talks about God knows what everyday. Kenyans are looking for results not lectures, corruption and tribalism, this are things Kasongo does not understand or even knows how to deliver. We can at least say that Kalonzo was part of Kibaki government that gave Kenyans some semblance of prosperity.
