Morara Kebaso and Matiangi have already hinted they will be running. On the other hand, it seems Kenyattas are pushing Muhoho or someone they will control to run. Crowded field already. I think it is too early to announce when there are 3 cool years to go. After a year of yupping and not dishing out money to youth, women groups, churches, etc., folks will get weary and head back to premium politicians with so much dough to distribute! In Kenya, unlike many parts of the world, you have to have insane cash to sustain a campaign because Kenyans want someone wealthy with gangster proclivities to lead, not someone soft with great ideas!

I guess Morara has already announced. I don't trust Kenyans one bit. I can bet you a million bucks, Morara, Okiyah, Matiangi, and even Kalonzo will oversee a country ridden by more corruption than Ruto combined. The problem is not candidates, but Kenyans themselves. Kenyans are very wicked, tribal, and disgusting humans. Given a small opportunity, they will steal and pillage with impunity.

Tribal politics will not work in 2027 the biggest tribe are the unemployed and they make up 70% of the population.

This is it and it's why he is holding out on constituting the IEBC.  I don't like Gachagua or Kalonzo. I am for omtatah and all kenyans should rally behind him. Gachagua or Kalonzo will just be a return to old politics.

GenZ and Morara types will not board the Omtata train because there is no money there. I think they will form their group and act like they are running while minting dough from premium politicians until the last minute, then ditch the activist candidates like Omtata. If Raila decides to run, Omtatas and Genz third-party candidates will fizzle out, and more likely RVGEMA will emerge again. 3 years is a fucking long time in politics. The person with enough dough will slowly shape it for his advantage as 2027 approach!
