Something is wrong somewhere. Ruto need to assemble his team and figure out how to address Gen Z grievances. Most are decade old problems that have piled up through the years but some like corruption cases, hiring competent team those can be fixed quickly and easily. I would suggest he start with cabinet positions advertise those positions, let kenyans apply for those positions then appoint competent team.

Personally am against the demos but I think today demos failed because they were countrywide unlike in the past where you had young people trooping to Nairobi. Juja, Githurai, Thika rd route you are talking of 300 -500k youth easily. Mombasa rd another 300k , Ngong Rd and Mbagathi another 200-300k. Not hard to assemble over 1 million youth in Nairobi citi.

It is simple announce an independent commission to investigate state Capture and corruption since the 3rd President!  Act on the recommendation of corruption, by announcing draconian laws like beheading in Public for stealing public funds!

If security is relaxed on these thugs haki ya Ngai, we will have no Kenya. It will be worse than 2007, issue is population has increased, people are more materialistic, killings will happen everywhere, even villages all those with shops or means of atleast 2 meals will be attacked, and then retaliation starts, no enough police/military to restore order. Something radical has to be done at the same time come up with a Marshal plan to create jobs.  UDA over promised and under delivered but one can understand they fully focused on fighting debt default and in the process boxed themselves in a corner.
