I doubt it.  MDVD cannot get his village behind him, let alone the heterogenous Luhya grouping.  Kenyans like a leader with a hard edge - a thug, a trickster or other mischievous trait.  MDVD has none of that and the charisma of a mushroom locked in a dark room by itself.

Raila isn't stupid.Out of Rigathi-Ruto fallout, He will make alot of money because Ruto has to buy him maybe with 50BN to ensure stability. You can imagine an alliance of Kikuyu and Luo protesting against Ruto in parliament and across the country like in 1997 budget reading. It would be chaos.As things stand now,Raila pockets billions of shillings between now and 2026.As for 2027,If rigathi ruto completely fallout,Raila may sell his supporters to Ruto for 100BN and throw Kalonzo under the bus because he gains nothing from supporting Kalonzo while age is not on his side.

The  answer is obvious to me - Ruto will win 2027 by huge landslide - small tribes - from coast to northern kenya to rift valley will be in his corner - Luhyas will be dangling to try 2032 with Ruto side - and Luos are likely going to support Ruto than broke useless Kalonzo - kikuyus will complete the journey in hope of 32 comeback.

Kalonzo-Gachagua -Uhuru - can unite and give him some competition. By then Ruto will have worked on all of them until they are bankrupted.
