kenyans like new things bwana.

We are used to mercs, range rovers, bimas, etc. Porsche is new. Give it 2 yrs and see if the figures will be the same in 2016.
If Nissan brings in their luxury Infiniti q70 & q80 models, it will definitely chapa kina Porsche who's leading now.

Remember when Jaguar launched in 2011 and it beat both merc and bima?

what is the middle class economic activities..... how  profitable is hawking Chinese products? what other economic activities  which can be upscaled to hundred thousands  or even millions are we engaging in?

looks like only a few Kenyans have access to (serikali) serious monies? less than 20,000; the rest have to do with mtumba cars or what does this mean?

Data from the Kenya Motor Industry Association (KMI) shows that new vehicle dealers sold 17,499 units in 2014, marking a new high since the liberalization of the local motor trade in the 1990s that allowed for import of used cars.

The number of units sold last year is 20.3 per cent more than the previous peak of 14,542 units recorded in 2013.
