Look like KK are tired and want to unleash retaliatory violence on Azimio.

To use your phrase, "the peasants" have nothing to loose. Disillusionment on the ground is real. For anyone who doubted their resolve to stand up to those who cause physical harm, risking lives notwithstanding, The Rubicon river was crossed on #MaandamanoWednesday when they hit the streets even without Rao blowing the whistle. No amount of consequences matter to these people anymore. I feel bad but the writing is on the wall that many more will loose lives because on the streets, positions have hardened in the 23 hotspots that popped up Wednesday. All likelihood is that the 3 day legal demonstrations will take place. It is either KK follows through with genuine 'bottom up' which means revoking the Finance Act 2023 or burst! Many of those who were on the other side before elections find themselves on the side of "The people" on matters cost of living and their inability to make ends meet. The numbers have swelled  to include all and sundry and not just Azimio. There is a video making rounds summarizing how demonstrators after a number of tried & tested demos, have become adept at picking up teargas canisters and 'returning them to sender'.

Meanwhile  this is what Al Jazeera published today

KK is barking up the wrong tree. The elephant in the room is the high cost of living and you have said so as much. Azimio is simply taking advantage of the situation to re- align with the masses....

Azimio protest are not cost of living. Let see wednesday areas that will demonstrate. Dont lie to Luos. Yet Bungoma nobody demonstrated for example.

Luos and their leaders are the one that will face hard times because more Sondus are coming as KK supporters have had enough.

Azimio protest are not cost of living...
You are the only KK blogger living in denial.  Everyone else on social media now openly  acknowledges it is about cost of living.
BiancaNaomi:
These people know the general public is Hungry and angry, and that's why they're capitalizing on the cost of living!
My plea to President William Ruto is that let's be easy on Kenyans; they are very sensitive and will blow up anytime.
It's high time the government realized that it's dealing with angry, hungry people. Anything done, and it comes across as a slap on their face. We need a balance. We need to communicate to Kenyans with empathy. We need to meet Kenyans halfway. We need to give Kenyans a break. The political class must meet the majority of Kenyans halfway and stop living like they don't know Kenyans get hurt when they seem to be cushioning themselves against Shida.

You talk of Sondu like you have the memory of a tsetse fly. Do you really need reminding from the man from Tseikuru that former IG Hussein Ali was at ICC?

I want to remind the Inspector General of police.... that Kenya is under the ICC," Kalonzo told the congregants.
"There is a higher court and the rules of engagement are very clear, that a person, or persons bearing the highest responsibility Ikiwa ni polisi ambao wanaua watu kama swara, yule ambaye atakuwa responsible ni IG of police,"

A section of Mt Kenya residents have told the Kenya Kwanza administration to stop trivialising calls to lower the high cost of living by viewing it as an attempt by Azimio leader Raila Odinga's to gain power through the back door.

Azimio protest has morphed from servers to unga - and will continue until Ruto unleash proper violence on them.

Until they know - even if your angry and hungry - you cannot stone people or steal or maim others.

Ingine ni ufala.

This is the truth, without reducing fuel price which is leading to so much pain from daily transport to milling mahindi , iko shida.
