Be nice - outside internet anonymity - be nice.
Treat everyone well.
Be humble.
Listen.

Dont be over nice.
Dont be over good.
Dont listen to fools.
Dont be taken for a fool.

You dontn need jesus or christianity - live like a human being - treat people well - they treat you well
Be aware of snakes - you can treat well and they will NOT reciprocate except bite you.

Always be Nice to people you know. Be AN arsehole to arsheoles especially online. They wont know you. You wont meet them. They wont hurt you.

End of day - BE Nice. Dont be evil.

Lesson for the day.

Correction. You are 60. It is bad enough that you post lies about others but what is worse is when you post lies about YOURSELF.

By your own handle on TWITTER, you tell the whole world that you have been an "online pundit of MORE THAN 30 years" and this you posted in November 2021. 40 minus 30 is 10. When I was 10 years I was in class 5 and my teachers made sure I focused on primary school work. Besides most online platforms have age restrictions unless of course is typical about you, you lied about your age.

Even lying requires consistency. You post one lie you have to lie on the next. You would be advised to Unpin this thread. No one else will post to it. You are abusing the process, @Veritas allows you to PIN threads. No thread will carry any wisdom or traction, if its title carries with it falsehoods.

Eti "Lesson for day". There are no under 13 members on this forum to be lied to. Kumbaff!

Be at peace with everyone

Love your family and always be there for them

Avoid talking unnecessarily

Hope you get into farming. Being around farm animals is quite satisfying

If you can travel the world......

My number one lesson is never be lazy and never completely retire where you are sitting at home doing nothing.  This is not good for your mental health. Always find something to keep you busy and if you enjoy what you do, keep working. Never retire.

Idleness should actually be declared a mental health illness.  People that are lazy and idle end up ruining their lives (is what I have seen)

Yes plan is to go to rural kenya and farm. At least for 1yr. Wife and kids will stay in Nairobi. But me I want to focus on farming - and generally engage in physical activities.

Why do Africans believe they are born farmers? Farming si mchezo.
My friend was manager at 3M for years. He quit mid 50's, sold his house in Nairobi and bought farming equipment for the farm in Kitale. Years later he told me had he known we would not have made that move.

Pundit, go learn proper farming skills before making such a move. Otherwise you will end up learning trial by error.

What do you mean learn - I am not born in Ololo like you :). I spent half my lifehood in shags.
I already farm trees.
Now I want to go do what I love most - planting large tree/fruit nurseries - I specifically acquired a land with enough water for that.
Secondly keep sheeps and goats in my farm trees.
Finally, I will grow potatoes kidogo - I think it has serious money where I have my land.
Finally, maybe some chicken and dairy cows.
That is Nakuru county.

I am still thinking of starting small tea factory - coz I already have ongoing small hydro power project - likely to do it in my father farm.

My wife is opposed to my farming ideas - but I have given her enough rental houses in nairobi to sustain her and the kids. I will only be in Nairobi once in a while with kids.

I'd say, always have a lot of money and maintain your health [Wealth and Health]. Make money your friend, by investing every dollar you get and constantly moving money to better investments. As long you are you have money human race and life will treat you so damn nice.

We people of Ololo wish guys like you would have remained there. You ruined our Nairobi with your shags mentality. Today Nairobi resembles Kaptagat, where you come from.

Anyway, wish you the best in your new chapter in life. Make sure you do not father to many kids in your rural homestead.

Kalenjin we dont wish to stay in your slums. It you people and like of Jaluos who have ruined Nairobi erecting slums - and marrying 3-5 wives in every slum.

Every Kalenjin almost live minimally in Nairobi and retreat most of weekend to Shags - and will disappear back to Kaptagat on the 1st opportunity.

We dont love your slums. Stay there. How many Kalenjin did you meet in Ololo - maybe just the cops and occasional civil servant - living alone.

What am leaning is that life is very deterministic. There are formulas and key one is type of relationships you have and build.

Be it at family level, business(from whom you earn) and socially.
Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state, an intolerable one ~ Thomas Paine

I sometimes feel fair share of luck or fortune - determine life outcomes.

Hard work and grinding daily with massive monetary gains determines a lot. Luck is very hard to come by!
