As long as the USA AND EU basically all developed countries are raising interest rates..it means the shilling depreciated...that's because when these major countries raise interest rates it means weak shilling in kenya because investors are taking money back to their countries...when these investors,importers and GOVERMENT oil purchases demand dollars,that creates shortage demand and weak shilling....most Kenyans are holding their money in dollars.

That leads to speculations which creates panic buying.

In short.
G7 high interest rates.
Weakened China economy.
High import bill.
Drought.
Maturing Eruobond.
Ukraine war/oil gas import grains import price.

Kenyatta profited 10B kshs in forex from 1B. Other banks didnt.
Investigation should be 1) where they get the forex 2) why huge forex spread.

Njoroge has alluded to goldenburg like scheme that was nearly being pulled.

NCBA - if they are getting dollars from KTDA/Coffee/CBK - we need to know.

It should be investigate. Njoroge maybe feared Uhuru. Kuria is repeating it. New deputy CBK governor also alluded to huge forex spread.

Kenyatta-Ndegwa crooks must be FINISHED together with MOis.

Central Bank should wake up and crush NCBA if they are doing fishy business or if Uhuru used his influence to get dollars to his bank.

We know NCBA gave KTDA loan for BONUS - a moronic decision meant to bribe them. Maybe they are now getting KTDA dollars. KTDA should refuse to pay if Uhuru can be linked to it.

KTDA should be made to open a bank account with KCB - state owned bank

KTDA was forced to borrow Ksh. 18.2 Billion from banks including NCBA and Standard Chartered to pay farmers early bonus right before elections.

Farmers now have to pay interest on the loan.
