I'm seeing more Yorubas saying that they'll vote for Obi, an Igbo, than Igbos saying they'll vote for the Yoruba candidate, Tinubu. But no clue whether this is the Wajackoyah/Kenneth phenomenon where people say they'll vote for someone but act differently in the voting booth.
I love punny political catchphrases/slogans. I think the best one that I've seen in Kenya was Najib Balala of NARC in 2002 vs Shariff Nassir of KANU, where Balala's slogan was
Sina siri, Nina jibu. I recently saw a Nigerian commenter modify the old testament bible verse,
obedience is better than sacrifice to
Obidience is better than sackofrice. Lol. As people know, Obi's followers are known as "Obidients". And Tinubu is known for donating thousands of bags of rice on multiple occasions over the past few years.
Tinibu is deep state mwenyewe. he will be hard to best
