The most blatant tax exemption granted to the kenyattas was the cba nic merger tax exemption https://www.businessdailyafrica.com/bd/economy/nic-cba-bank-merger-exempted-from-paying-millions-in-share-sale-tax-2261420  . The stamp duty exempted is roughly 350m -400m , other than question of fairness and cronyism, this isn't a loophole is going to plug kenya's budget deficit.
The main issue should be changing the tax policy to encourage production not the political sideshows now playing out.
