Unbelievable that some ignoramus who thinks he will never grow old can make such a post! You want to tell us you never heard of social security in America and similar programs in other developed Nations of the world???? Government 101?
A cardinal role of government other law order & security & provide public services, is to ensure social welfare of its citizens. No where in History has govt existed as a business or to make profits unless Nabii wants to be the first.
All peoples throughout all of human history have faced the uncertainties brought on by unemployment, illness, disability, death and old age. In the realm of economics, these inevitable facets of life are said to be threats to one's economic security. Social welfare, as conceived by President Roosevelt, was meant to address the permanent problem of economic security for the elderly.
