He is did well in Ethiopia and DRC.
And it was really stupid of him to be Azimio chair - after being president of kenya - that was demotion.
And was going to get him into conflict with Raila if he won - or now Ruto when opposition need to work.
Raila should similarly resign and retire from local politics - he is on a slow puncture he cant recover from.
And concentrate outside kenya.

Azimio should hand over the mantle to Kalonzo and Martha

Although realistically they should hand it over to much younger generation and plan for 2032.

I don't think it's just money,I think he wants to quit local politics and focus on international affairs and the only person who can help him is Ruto and Americans and Europeas.Otherwise Kikuyus will smear him with dirt while Luo's blame him for losing elections...At the same time,Ruto holds the sword to cut him.

Uhuru collects over 2MN shillings selling grass hay from Northlands city over 6 months. .that's 360MN annually without counting other farms in Nakuru molo and other places or even earnings from macadamia avocado tea and coffee...money not the problem for some people.
