I guess soon the terror visited on his African Spirit company will be history.

In Kenya, even known crooks are celebrated as long as they have money. This man has been associated to drug dealing for years.

Without evidence - he should be free like ODM Deputy Joho

Together with likes of Keroche they placed their bets well.

In a dirty poor country morality is blurred- What happens when a global drug don uses drugs money to spur the private sector and employ a handful. How much drugs are used in Kenya??

The local consumption is low. Kenya is a transit point for the drugs. Most head to Europe and a little to the US. US is very risky as you can see what happened to the Akasha brothers.

I've always wondered why the DEA isn't focused on African drug dealers.  My assumption is that they are totally overwhelmed by what's coming out of Latin America and don't have time for Africa, but one day they will and Joho and his drug peddlers will be in trouble. Never underestimate or discount America. Ask Bin Laden and Zawahiri.  I assume if they ever decide to focus on africa, they'll start with Guinea Bissau which is basically a narco-state, but you just never know with the DEA and FBI.

At some point, if you don't get out of the trade, it'll catch up with you

All distillers have issues with kra except KBL, the problem is alcohol taxation in kenya. Taxation needs to be simplified and lowered, otherwise the huge informal market will continue to grow depriving kra taxes that they're now heavy handedly enforcing.
