I hope it is not a Kalenjin-Kikuyu thing to act like they are bitter rivals while handing power to each other like ping pong. I hope Ruto will not be handing over power in 2032 like this. President should be happy and composed when handing over power to his project or someone else. Moi indeed was gracious, especially when half the country wanted him dead!
In retrospect, there is a possibility had Raila said Uhuru Tosha in 2002, he would be handing over power to Ruto now, having completed 10 years. Now, he is heading to Bondo, having witnessed Ruto win with honor while losing with fraud (Hot air, red herrings, falsehood, deception, hogwash, as the CJ put it)

Interesting scenario. Babaman supporting ufool would not have saved the ship. Likely the Luos would have rebelled or split.
