Good progress - we need official opposition - funded by gov - to keep gov side on tight leash otherwise mega looting will happen.

With opposition or not looting will still take place. Jubilee 1 the opposition cried hoarse, whistleblowing on mega scandals and nothing happened! So will it be this time round.

The role of opposition is not to stop gov but to shame the gov. Ruto played that role in 2003-2007 against Kibaki and recently from 2019-2022. And he was rewarded with PORK and Minister under ODM. Handshake crew always had their way but Ruto team had their say. What AZIMIO should do is engage in costructive opposition together with media and civil society. Use judiciary whenever possible...like BBI was stopped by Judiciary. Try to make gov job in parliament difficult enough in passing bad laws.

But mostly it will be to shame and expose gov corruption so kenyans are informed - donors are informed - and hopefully gov will has some conscience left to make ammends.

What we must avoid is nonsense like EUROBOND has been eaten - without any facts. Opposition will need to borrow a leaf from Ruto. Invest in counter-intelligences. Know what gov are upto. Know the details. Then expose them. But dont shout nonsense likes sijui Eurobond has all been eaten.

With opposition or not looting will still take place. Jubilee 1 the opposition cried hoarse, whistleblowing on mega scandals and nothing happened! So will it be this time round.
