Kisii governor aspirant Simba Arati's campaign vehicle was Saturday night burnt after a confrontation between his supporters and those of his rival Chris Obure.

One person was reportedly killed during the incident which occurred at Eburi in Bobasi, Kisii county.

Arati is vying for the Kisii governor seat on an ODM ticket while Obure is the Jubilee party flagbearer.
