He is definitely in Ruto corner.He could survive the the coming purge if he will go for all Uhuru guys..he knows them and what they did illegally. ODPP has security of tenure like CJ. This petty fights with Kinoti have been ongoing for years - since Handshake and fake war on corruption. Nothing to do with succession politics.

Kinoti is the one likely to be fired - I think only IG has security? Whoever win will pack new crew as usual.

But i agree Kinoti is not Haji level.. he should deal with deputy DPP or state counsel Dorcas Oduor.

Security of tenure versus cooperation. Most will choose to walk away as long as they get paid for remainder of the term or get equal appointment. Ruto will send emissaries to ask them to resign en-masse for leading fake war of graft. I dont see any refusing to quit - they will discuss the terms of quiting. There is no way they can work with Ruto.

i don't get your radical take on Ruto. I would't be surprised to see Kinoti recruited as new dog to hound dissenters or new rebels. Yalopita si ndwele.. that what more likely to happen no matter who wins.

Small DCI can be fired anytime - therefore can be as easily spared and REPURPOSED - to dance Ruto or Raila tune.
