As if the current IG's predecessors, his tribesmen were any better.
Ruto is number 2 in government and even when he was Uhuru's buddy presided over a government that installed incompetent IGs. We had the police reform, but Uhuru and Ruto cut it short and diluted the Police Service Commission, that was to oversee the work of the police force. Now today nobody even knows that the PSC even exists.
Those are crocodile tears from my fren. At least he should take some responsibilities. One would think he just entered government the other day.

Ruto's buddy Duale promptly drafted a bill to strip the NPSC of powers to appoint IG independent of PORK. They were in good books with Uhuru then and police was their docket. Kadudu is very right about the hypocrisy.
