Gachagua ni more fire, people are underestimating him. I listen to his campaign speeches sometimes. Things he focuses on are Mt. Kenya peasants, UDA down ballot races, and the Police. I saw someone say that the Police at Jacaranda yesterday decided to allow the KK meeting to proceed against their bosses wishes. Gachagua speaks to the average low ranking Police Officer. The other area Gachagua is lethal is campaigning for UDA down ballot races (6 piece). In Kiambu, Kuria and Kabogo are definitely feeling the heat. Gachagua is campaigning for a strong party. Even in the unlikely scenario where they lose the Presidency, UDA will have enough Governors, MPs, Senators and MCAs to make governing a nightmare, Raila will be seeking a handshake and sideline Martha and Uhuru in less than two months. If UDA wins, they'll be having tentacles everywhere among elected leaders.

For Mt. Kenya peasantry, Gachagua needs no introduction. He speaks their language. Martha is too urbane to counter that. She'll talk about sijui second liberation and corruption while Gachagua talks about bread and butter issues. Plus Gachagua is a hard worker and steadfast. Ruto made a great choice in my opinion, and he'll be vindicated. Us bourgeoisie voters don't determine electoral outcomes, and that's what Martha choice is targeting. Gachagua is targeting the more numerous peasantry of Kenya, and in an election, nothing matters more than numbers.

Exactly. Gachagua is bad news - deep state itself- and cant be intimidated by loud cries of Kabogo or Kuria. He knows how gov works. You can bet behind the scenes he is not sleeping but pulling levers in the security sector. He knows what UDA candidates wants - and is supplying them - money and propaganda.  Kabogo you will find him now in Thika road drinking or Kuria mlevi mwingine.
